Patel’s character, Kid, navigates an underground fight club, enduring brutal beatings for survival. His journey intertwines with the legend of Hanuman, embodying strength and bravery. Driven by childhood trauma, Kid’s quest for justice intensifies, culminating in a confrontation with the city’s elite.
‘Monkey Man’ is based on Patel’s original story, with a screenplay co-written by Paul Angunawela and John Collee. The cast features renowned actors like Sharlto Copley, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Pitobash, among others.
