Edelman, a leading global public relations firm based in New York, has announced the appointment of Nikki Haley as vice chair of its public affairs consultancy, Edelman Global Advisory (EGA). Haley, who was South Carolina’s first female governor from 2011 to 2017, brings a wealth of experience in leadership, international relations, and economic development to the role. Her tenure as governor was marked by successful efforts to attract foreign companies to South Carolina, boosting economic growth and job creation.
Haley also served as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018, where she played a crucial role in addressing global issues, enhancing her reputation on the international stage. At Edelman, she will provide strategic advice to clients navigating the complex political and business environments.
