The famous Times Square billboard in New York featured Indian rapper and hip-hop musician MC Stan. Spotify recognized his new “Haath Varthi” collaboration with Indian American DJ/producer KSHMR.
“It feels incredibly amazing to witness myself getting featured at Times Square. It has truly been a dream of mine to take Indian hip-hop to the international stage, and this is definitely one of the most momentous occasions in my career,” Stan told ETimes TV.
Straight to Times Square from Mumbai’s slums, Stan stated while sharing the video on Instagram and congratulating himself on the accomplishment. The musicians have reportedly also been highlighted on billboards located in three significant American cities, including New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville.
On August 30, 1999, the Indian rapper was born into an Islamic household in Pune, Maharashtra. He most recently appeared in the reality series Big Boss on Colors TV, where he took home a trophy, cash, and a car. When Stan was in eighth grade, he composed his first rap song.
