Bollywood’s love affair with Range Rovers continues, with Katrina Kaif recently joining the ranks of A-list celebrities owning the current-generation model. The actress has purchased the Range Rover LWB Autobiography, which is priced at an impressive $360,000 (on-road). Her new SUV comes in a classy Fuji White color, the same shade recently chosen by other celebrities like Jahnavi Kapoor and Ananya Pandey.
The Range Rover LWB Autobiography is equipped with a tan leather interior, advanced features like 24-way heated and cooled executive rear seats, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a Meridian 3D surround sound system. Katrina’s SUV also boasts a mild-hybrid petrol engine variant, the P400, which offers 394 hp and 550 Nm of torque. This powerful engine allows the SUV to reach 0-100 kph in just 5.9 seconds, despite its considerable weight.
Interestingly, Katrina Kaif’s previous Range Rover was a Fuji White Range Rover Vogue, which was a gift from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This earlier SUV, also powered by a 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel engine, generated 335 bhp and 740 Nm of torque and was priced at $280,000 back in 2019. Both her old and new Range Rovers share the same number, “8822.”
Adding to the luxury car collection in her family, Katrina’s husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, also owns a Range Rover, having purchased his SUV in 2021.
Apart from Katrina and Vicky, other Bollywood celebrities such as Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Ranbir Kapoor are also proud owners of the iconic Range Rover.
