Kartik Aaryan recently impressed fans with his remarkable transformation in the sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’. Reflecting on his journey from loneliness and failed auditions to stardom, Kartik shared his early struggles on the second season of ‘Be A Man, Yaar’ hosted by Nikhil Taneja. He described the harsh reality of the audition process, saying, “It is very harsh. It’s like you don’t exist. Lagta tha ki aapki koi value hai nahi.”
The constant fear of being deemed ‘unfit’ weighed heavily on him, adding to his frustration with the industry. However, Kartik found solace in the unwavering support of his fans, stating, “My loneliness has been compensated by my fans.” As an outsider, he experienced a lack of equality in the industry. Kartik explained, “Main line mein laga hoon aur dusro ko line mein lagne ki zarurat bhi nahi padh rahi… (I am standing in a queue, while others don’t need that either. They’re sipping tea while I’m still in auditions). There is never an even playing field. Aur wo toh aaj bhi rehta hai.”
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan is set to appear in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, a horror drama directed by Anees Bazmee. The film also features Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri, with Madhuri Dixit playing a pivotal role. Additionally, Kartik has upcoming projects including Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’ and a film with Karan Johar in the pipeline.
