Karan Aujla is set to join forces with OneRepublic on their upcoming track “Tell Me”, produced by Ikky, known for his previous collaborations with Aujla on hits like “Softly” and “Jee Ni Lagda.”
This collaboration comes as Aujla extends his global recording deal with Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India. For the Punjabi music sensation, working with OneRepublic has been a long-held dream. “I’ve wanted to collaborate with OneRepublic for years, and it’s finally happening. I know fans will love this song,” Aujla shared. He also expressed excitement about continuing his journey with Warner Music, promising even bigger surprises ahead.
OneRepublic’s frontman, Ryan Tedder, shared his enthusiasm, revealing his deep appreciation for Indian music and culture since performing in India. He expressed his excitement, saying, “I’ve been eager to collaborate with Indian artists, and this song with Karan feels like the perfect opportunity.”
Kristen Burke, President of Warner Music Canada, praised Aujla’s ability to break cultural and geographical barriers, while Jay Mehta, Managing Director of Warner Music India & SAARC, called him an artist who constantly pushes the boundaries of Punjabi and global music.
“Tell Me” is set to release on February 27, 2025, blending Aujla’s Punjabi musical roots with OneRepublic’s signature global pop sound, marking a milestone in cross-genre collaborations.
