Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is set to take the spotlight at the 27th annual AREC property industry conference in May, marking her first speaking engagement in Australia. Harris, who lost the 2024 U.S. presidential election to Donald Trump, will participate in a moderated discussion at the event.
The conference, founded by property expert John McGrath, will take place from May 25 to 26, featuring a diverse lineup of 32 speakers. Among them are Buying in Beverly Hills star and real estate mogul Mauricio Umansky, entrepreneur Steven Bartlett, sports coach Tim Grover, and Olympic gold medalists Emma McKeon and Ariarne Titmus.
McKeon and Titmus will discuss mental resilience, overcoming setbacks, and the power of teamwork, offering insights applicable beyond the world of sports.
Industry coach Josh Phegan will lead discussions on performance, lead generation, and business strategies on the first day. Meanwhile, Umansky, who founded The Agency and is known for his role in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will serve as the keynote speaker on day two. His session will focus on personal branding, client relations, negotiation tactics, and selling luxury real estate.
“We take pride in securing world-class speakers, and this year’s lineup exceeds all expectations,” said McGrath, highlighting the significance of AREC25 in the real estate industry.
The event is expected to provide invaluable insights into property trends, branding, and success strategies, attracting professionals from across the industry.
