The creators of “Jawan” launched overseas advance bookings for the film over 20 days before its release, and it has already garnered $1.21 million in the US alone.
As Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2” gears up to surpass box office records set by his previous release “Pathaan,” Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film is already generating substantial revenue through advance ticket sales. Scheduled for a September 7 release, “Jawan” has secured $1.45 million in advance bookings exclusively in the US, as reported by ETimes. Approximately 10,000 tickets sold
The English daily disclosed that “Jawan” has sold around 9,700 tickets across 367 locations in America for its opening day in September. Out of these, 9,200 tickets were for Hindi showings, 360 for Telugu, and 200 for Tamil screenings.
Earning over a million
Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan stated that “Jawan” has earned $1.45 million through advance bookings in the US. He shared on the social media platform X, “#Jawan advance bookings are excellent in the USA, CROSSING the $150K mark. Advance revenue – $151,187 across 367 locations with 1607 shows and 9691 tickets. #ShahRukhKhan poised to create a milestone in Bollywood as the first actor with two opening days surpassing $10 million after #Pathaan.

Numerous exhibitors and single-screen theater proprietors have taken to social media, indicating that the film is receiving an exceptional response, even before advance bookings have opened.
Exhibitor Vishek Chauhan stated, “#Jawan.. As we screened 6 am shows for #Pathaan, I’m already getting inquiries and demands for #Jawan 6 am screenings and to begin advance bookings promptly.” The inquiries suggest a Boxoffice #tsunami is on its way. This @iamsrk starrer is super hot. @Atlee_dir.”
