The ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and agreed to continue diplomatic engagement. Their conversation underscored the importance of cooperation between India and Ukraine in navigating complex global challenges and maintaining economic resilience.
Jaishankar’s visit to France was part of a two-day engagement at the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held at Abbaye des-Vaux-de-Cernay. In another key session, Jaishankar spoke about the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, describing it as a vital initiative for strengthening trade connectivity. He noted that current geopolitical tensions further reinforce the importance of building resilient and secure trade routes.
He added that India’s free trade agreements with the European Union, EFTA countries, and the United Kingdom have increased the corridor’s strategic value.
