India’s significant youth population is crucial in meeting SDG targets, and the country’s leadership is seen as a beacon of hope. Sharp emphasized India’s impact on global SDG targets and praised the Indian G20 presidency for its momentum in critical areas.
Reliance Foundation CEO Jagannatha Kumar highlighted India’s economic and technological growth, driven by innovative approaches to achieving the SDGs. The G20 declaration recommitted to achieving the SDGs despite global setbacks.
The G20 Summit’s success in prioritizing development, equality, and prosperity was recognized by Christopher Elias, President of Global Development at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
