Komati Cheruvu, located in Siddipet district, has been gaining significant attention as a prominent tourist destination, offering a diverse range of attractions. Recently, it achieved a remarkable milestone by introducing India’s inaugural Jurassic Park.
This groundbreaking park, established at a cost of approximately $670,000, owes its existence to the unwavering dedication of T. Harish Rao, Telangana’s Finance and Health Minister. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, it is now poised to captivate visitors with an exciting adventure, allowing them to witness these long-extinct ancient giants.
The theme park boasts an impressive array of lifelike and animated dinosaurs. While a dinosaur museum located in Rayoli, Gujarat’s Mahisagar district—where the first dinosaur eggs were discovered—features only one moving dinosaur that produces sounds, Komati Cheruvu Park offers a more immersive experience with 18 lifelike, mobile dinosaurs, complemented by five static replicas.
B. Ravindra Chari, an official from Komati Cheruvu, confidently asserts that this park is on course to become India’s foremost and largest dinosaur-themed attraction. The destination prides itself on a carefully crafted sprawling cave and a 240-meter miniature track, where a train transports visitors throughout the park, offering a captivating opportunity to witness the dinosaurs in motion.
This special train comprises three carriages, each accommodating six passengers. Going beyond visual engagement, the park has ingeniously created an experience that enables guests not only to see but also hear the roars and cries of the dinosaurs. On display are meticulously crafted dinosaur skeletons and eggs, using cutting-edge silicon technology to lend a touch of realism.
Detailing these captivating features, Chari explains that the dinosaurs freely roam within the park, emitting resounding calls. The train journey, he notes, lasts between eight to ten minutes and is filled with surprises, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
In addition to its dinosaur-themed attractions, Komati Cheruvu boasts a rock garden, a glow garden, and an adventure park, making it a multifaceted tourist destination that promises something for everyone.
