In a groundbreaking event held at Celebrations Banquet Hall in Cumming, Georgia, Indian American entrepreneur and community advocate Lakshmi Mandavilli made history by organizing the state’s first-ever neurodiverse pageant. Named LuckyWe2 Georgia USA 2025, the event was hosted by her company LuckyWe2, known for creating inclusive platforms that amplify underrepresented voices.
With over three decades in the United States, Lakshmi is the founder of MedRoi Corp, a thriving medical billing firm. She is also a wife and mother who has long supported women’s empowerment and community-building initiatives. Her inspiration for the pageant stemmed from attending a neurodiverse event, where she realized the need for a celebratory stage for individuals on the neurodiverse spectrum.
Supported by a dynamic team — Chalamayya Batchu, Priya Dharmendran, Priya Kumar, and Sneha Kalvakota — the pageant featured 10 neurodiverse participants, each leaving the audience inspired by their confidence, charm, and enthusiasm. The event saw a packed house filled with families, friends, and supporters, all united in celebrating inclusivity.
Prominent guests included Johns Creek Mayor Pro Tem Dilip Tunki, Georgia Board of Examiners member Kartik Bhatt, Cultural Ambassador Mustafa Ajmeri, and several Telugu Association leaders. Their presence underscored the significance of such inclusive events and the growing community support behind them.
Adding to the evening’s warmth were musical performances by Manisha Mehta and Beena Gajjar, followed by heartfelt and spirited performances from the neurodiverse participants themselves — singing, dancing, and owning the stage with joy.
Lakshmi dedicated this initiative to her late parents, Ramam and Padmavathi Thummalapalli, whose values of empathy and service continue to guide her. As an entrepreneur for over 16 years, she shared that this was only the beginning of her journey toward creating more spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
She also extended deep gratitude to the parents of all the participants and close friends like Madhavi, Sravani, Seema, Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy, and many others, whose unwavering encouragement helped bring her vision to life.
With more inclusive events already in the pipeline, LuckyWe2, under Lakshmi’s leadership, is determined to build a more compassionate and diverse future — one celebration at a time.
