The announcement of the National Small Business Week (NSBW) Award 2024 winners by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates the contributions of individuals who have bolstered the nation’s economy. Among those recognized is Anil Boinapalli, an Indian-American entrepreneur and CEO of Sky Solutions, chosen as the 2024 State Small Business Person of the Year representing Virginia.
Established in 2008 and headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, Sky Solutions specializes in providing technology solutions to streamline business operations and enhance customer engagement. Boinapalli expressed gratitude for the honor, reflecting on his journey from a remote village in South India to achieving success in the United States.
Prior to founding Sky Solutions, Boinapalli served as a Solutions Architect at CNSI, where he played a key role in developing innovative healthcare products. He also gained experience at Fannie Mae and Harris Corporation. His academic background includes a master’s degree in Computer Science from Kakatiya University in India.
The NSBW Award Ceremony is set to occur on April 28-29, 2024, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Washington, DC. SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman will recognize both national and state winners during the event. Following the ceremony, Guzman will embark on a roadshow tour from April 30 to May 3, acknowledging the contributions of small businesses in various cities across the country.
