As cooperation in the defense sector between France and India continues to grow, India has announced plans to establish a technical office of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at its embassy in Paris. This development was mentioned in the joint statement issued by India and France.
The statement highlighted that France holds significant importance as one of India’s key allies in building a self-reliant defense industry and technological foundation. It emphasized that both countries are committed to jointly developing and producing advanced defense technologies for the benefit of other nations as well.
In pursuit of this goal, India and France are actively working towards the adoption of a roadmap on defense industrial cooperation, as mentioned in the statement.
