On the same day, Jaishankar also inaugurated the Mediclinic project in Grand Bois, Mauritius. Funded by Indian grant assistance, this project is described as a new symbol of friendship between the two nations. Jaishankar noted that the Mediclinic will offer secondary healthcare to 16,000 people in the region.
