Hagerty, a US-based automotive lifestyle and membership company, has named Arjun H. Chowdri as its senior vice president of membership and retention. In this role, Chowdri will oversee the global membership programs, including the world’s largest paid car club, the driver’s club, boasting over 800,000 members.
Additionally, Chowdri will be in charge of Hagerty’s garage and social business, which comprises five premium car storage and clubhouse locations across the US and Canada. Paul Rehrig, president of Hagerty media, marketing, and membership, emphasized Chowdri’s extensive experience, notably his previous role at the PGA of America, making him the ideal executive for leading membership programs and retention marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Hagerty, Chowdri served as the chief administrative and innovation officer for the PGA of America, overseeing organizational planning, execution, and success measurement. His previous experience includes leading sports and entertainment marketing for Coca-Cola’s Glaceau brands, handling POWERADE, Vitaminwater, and NOS Energy.
Expressing his honor at the appointment, Chowdri highlighted Hagerty’s position as a community-focused brand delivering high-value products and services. He looks forward to contributing to the company’s journey and deepening members’ enthusiasm for classic and collectible cars. Chowdri, a University of Chicago graduate, also holds an MBA from the University of Oregon.
