Google announced the commencement of applications for the ‘Startups Accelerator: AI First’ program in India, offering three months of equity-free support to startups addressing diverse industry challenges through artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
In a blog post, the tech giant highlighted the program as part of its global initiative, providing early-stage startups leveraging AI, machine learning (ML), and Cloud technology with essential tools to tackle pressing global issues.
Selected startups will benefit from mentorship focused on developing AI solutions centered on human needs and ethical considerations, alongside gaining access to Google’s extensive mentor network.
Additionally, participants will undergo training in design, marketing, and leadership, and receive credits for tech stack utilization and cutting-edge AI resources.
Eligibility criteria specify that only Indian startups, incorporating AI into their core offerings, including generative AI, and preferably in Seed to Series A stages, are encouraged to apply.
Google emphasized the program’s success in empowering startups to address systemic challenges using AI, with a newfound focus on those employing large language models for generative AI-based innovations.
