In a post on their social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), World of Statistics unveiled a roster of 21 companies helmed by Indian-origin CEOs. The list includes notable names like Sundar Pichai of Alphabet, Ajay Banga of World Bank Group, Sanjay Mehrotra of Micron Technology, and Shantanu Narayen of Adobe, among others. Musk expressed his admiration for this achievement, responding with a succinct “Impressive” on his micro-blogging account.
Adding to this trend, Vaibhav Taneja, of Indian origin, recently assumed the role of Tesla’s Chief Financial Officer after the departure of Zachary Kirkhorn. In a LinkedIn post, Kirkhorn shared his decision to step down after serving the company for 13 years, expressing gratitude to Elon Musk for his inspirational leadership.
Kirkhorn acknowledged the unique experience of being part of Tesla and expressed pride in the accomplishments achieved during his tenure. As he transitioned responsibilities to support the CFO transition, he thanked Tesla’s dedicated employees for their exceptional efforts and recognized Elon Musk’s visionary leadership that has driven innovation and inspired countless individuals.
