Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable march at the domestic box office, emerging as one of the most dominant theatrical performers in Indian cinema history. The Ranveer Singh-led action thriller has shattered second-week records by a massive margin, setting new standards for future big-budget releases. For 14 consecutive days, the film earned over $2.4 million net daily in India, making it the first Indian film to sustain such numbers for two straight weeks.
After completing two weeks in theatres, Dhurandhar has amassed approximately $55 million net in India, while its worldwide gross has crossed $84 million. On its third Friday, the film once again flirted with the $2.4 million mark despite a reduced screen count due to the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash. Early estimates suggest collections between $2.0 million and $2.2 million for the day, with strong occupancy levels holding steady across morning and night shows.
Industry observers believe that with an unchanged screen count, Dhurandhar could have comfortably delivered another $3 million day. Even with new competition, the film’s momentum remains exceptionally strong. By its third Saturday, Dhurandhar is expected to enter the elite $60 million domestic net club, placing it among a very select group of Hindi films to achieve this milestone.
With the Christmas and New Year holiday period still ahead, crossing $72 million net in India appears virtually guaranteed. Attention has now shifted toward major all-time records. The current highest Bollywood domestic grosser stands at around $77 million, while the highest Hindi-language film overall has earned close to $90 million in India. Another recent benchmark of approximately $72.5 million is also firmly within reach.
Trade analysts agree that Dhurandhar is set to surpass multiple long-standing records, with its climb toward the top of the 2025 global charts accelerating faster than expected. At this pace, the film is not only redefining Ranveer Singh’s box office legacy but also reshaping expectations for Indian theatrical blockbusters worldwide.
