Deepthi Ravula, CEO of WE Hub foundation, has been chosen as an Eisenhower fellow, leading the charge in empowering women entrepreneurs through the startup incubator. Among the 22 global leaders selected for the 2024 program, Ravula is the sole representative from India.
During the six-week program, fellows will engage in extensive travel across the United States, meeting with experts in their respective fields. Upon their return home on May 16, they will apply their newfound knowledge to implement individualized projects aimed at fostering positive societal impacts.
Through WE Hub, Ravula has nurtured 3,200 female-led startups in Telangana State since 2018. She provided crucial support through mentoring, strategic planning, branding and marketing guidance, and capital infusions totaling $2 million.
As an Eisenhower fellow, Ravula intends to establish a comprehensive support platform, consolidating various services currently offered separately. This initiative will provide credential certifications, financing options for daily funding requirements, and subsidized access to legal, financial, and marketing services for women entrepreneurs.
Previously, Ravula served as Joint Director for Electronics in the State of Telangana and worked at Nokia in San Diego, focusing on audio acoustic circuit design. She holds an engineering degree from Hyderabad and pursued graduate studies at CSU, San Diego.
“We look forward to welcoming these innovative leaders to the U.S. for a transformational experience,” stated EF chairman Robert M. Gates, former U.S. Secretary of Defense.
