Alia Bhatt was astonished to realize that her romantic comedy ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ has already reached its tenth anniversary.. To commemorate the occasion, she shared a special clip on Thursday.
On her Instagram story, Alia posted a compilation of her memorable scenes from the film, captioning it with “#10YearsOfHumptySharmaKiDulhania.” She also reposted director Shashank Khaitan’s nostalgic post and added, “Can’t believe it.”
Shashank Khaitan shared a throwback photo featuring himself, Alia, and Varun Dhawan, marking the milestone with gratitude, stating, “10 Years … Wow … Only Gratitude… Thank you Universe…”
Varun also celebrated the film’s anniversary by sharing its poster. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ was a romantic comedy that marked the second collaboration between Varun and Alia after their Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ (2012).
Apart from its storyline, the film received acclaim for its music, especially Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal’s soulful rendition of ‘Samjhawan.’
On the professional front, Alia is set to headline ‘Jigra,’ with its release date pushed to October 11, 2024, as announced recently. She also stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War.’
Additionally, Alia will feature in ‘Alpha,’ a film that marks a significant shift in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, focusing on strong female characters alongside Sharvari.
