Capgemini has announced a significant leadership reshuffle to drive global growth, with Indian-origin executives playing pivotal roles in the company’s strategic realignment. Anirban Bose, who currently heads the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, has been promoted to CEO of the Americas Strategic Business Unit. He will succeed Jim Bailey, with the transition expected in November 2024. In his new role, Bose will lead operations across North and South America, focusing on boosting AI-driven digital transformation initiatives.
Simultaneously, Kartik Ramakrishnan will step into Bose’s previous role as CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. Ramakrishnan, an experienced leader with deep expertise in financial services, is set to foster innovation and growth within this sector, building on his extensive tenure at Capgemini.
Capgemini CEO Aiman Ezzat expressed confidence in both leaders, saying, “We are fortunate to have Anirban and Kartik guide our company’s growth with their outstanding leadership.” In addition to these appointments, Jerome Simeon will become Chief Revenue Officer, tasked with driving revenue expansion, while Franck Greverie will transition to the role of Chief Technology Officer in January 2025.
This leadership restructuring aligns with Capgemini’s broader goals to strengthen its position in artificial intelligence, cloud services, and digital transformation, delivering greater value to clients worldwide. More updates are expected as the new leadership takes effect.
