On November 20, 2023, Blue Dart Express Limited unveiled a partnership with India Post, introducing a new delivery method. Through collaboration with select post offices, Blue Dart is deploying automated digital parcel lockers, offering customers an additional retrieval option.
These digital parcel lockers eliminate the need for signatures or personal receipts, ensuring both accessibility and security for consignees. Recipients can retrieve their shipments by entering a provided code, with access restricted to authorized personnel only. The flexibility of retrieving deliveries at any time is highlighted as a key feature.
Blue Dart has enlisted the expertise of Podrones, a last-mile technology and parcel locker company, to support this initiative. Balfour Manuel, Managing Director at Blue Dart, emphasized the long-standing strategic relationship with India Post and expressed the commitment to exceptional customer service through this transformative partnership.
