Ayodhya, the temple town, is undergoing elaborate preparations for the impending visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled for December 30. The city is being adorned with a divine ambiance through the use of flowers, lights, and sculptures ahead of the Prime Minister’s inauguration of an international airport and the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station.
Notably, the grand consecration ceremony for the Ram Temple is set for January 22, a momentous occasion that the Prime Minister will grace with his presence. In addition to these significant events, four newly redeveloped, widened, and beautified roads in Ayodhya, including the Ram Path, will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, enhancing accessibility to the upcoming Ram Temple.
Workers, drawn from various parts of the country, are diligently engaged in decorating the city with floral arrangements. The designs, inspired by Lord Ram, Hanuman, and religious symbols, are being meticulously crafted and will be utilized for ornamentation along key locations such as Ram Path, Dharm Path, the airport, and the railway station.
Describing the preparations, a worker mentioned creating various decorative designs, including a floral image of Lord Ram holding his bow and arrow. Hundreds of workers are contributing to this effort, with approximately 300 quintals of flowers sourced from Kolkata, Delhi, Ghazipur, and other locations.
At the Ram Katha Park, a group of workers is focused on constructing floral patterns hung on wooden frames, showcasing intricate designs depicting aspects of Lord Ram’s life. Along prominent streets, imposing sun-themed columns, known as ‘Surya Stambhs,’ are being installed, adding to the city’s festive atmosphere.
Ayodhya is set to radiate a divine aura on December 30, with large posters celebrating the upcoming Ram temple and the new airport, emphasizing Ayodhya as a city of “Maryada, Dharm, and Sanskriti.” These elaborate preparations mark the city’s anticipation for the monumental events in the coming days.
