Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Ayodhya, assessed preparations for the upcoming Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22. He termed the event as “historic” and highlighted its significance in reaffirming India’s faith and pride. Adityanath appealed to the public to plan their visits with patience, ensuring a well-organized and secure event. He announced that the entire Cabinet would offer prayers at the temple on February 1, emphasizing the widespread enthusiasm for the consecration ceremony.
Addressing devotees’ eagerness to witness the historic occasion after five centuries, Adityanath assured full support for any darshan plan prepared by the Teerth Kshetra Trust. He urged people to adhere to their scheduled visits, discouraging on-foot arrivals due to cold weather conditions. The Chief Minister emphasized coordination and harmony for a successful event, encouraging patience and adherence to prescribed schedules.
Adityanath disclosed the establishment of improved green corridors to facilitate visitors from various cities. A “beat system” is being devised to engage with people at the grassroots level, ensuring organized darshan from different locations. He stressed the importance of the event and requested cooperation to make it a grand success.
During the review meeting, the Chief Minister directed the deployment of liaison officers with VVIPs, familiar with the historical and geographical importance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. He instructed officials to prepare a six-month action plan for darshan visits to Ayodhya and emphasized inter-district and inter-state police coordination for devotee convenience.
Additionally, Adityanath discussed plans for a flower shower during the consecration ceremony, emphasizing effective communication and coordination with Trust officials and the Indian Air Force.
