Archika Dogra, an Indian American, is among the eight students awarded the 2024 Spirit of Princeton Award, which celebrates Princeton University undergraduates for their positive contributions to campus life. Established in 1995, the award honors students who exhibit dedication to various aspects of the undergraduate experience, including student organizations, athletics, community service, religious life, residential life, and the arts.
Dogra, a senior majoring in computer science from Bellevue, Washington, has actively engaged in campus activities during her tenure. She held leadership roles as president of the Entrepreneurship Club and Princeton South Asian Theatrics. Additionally, she contributed significantly to the wider community through mentorship with Academic Service Today, participation as a OneRespect interviewer, and service as an accessibility notetaker.
Her involvement extended to various campus committees, such as recruitment chair for the Orange Key tour guides and member of the Undergraduate Student Government movies committee. In 2017, Dogra founded Innoverge, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting STEM education and addressing educational inequity. The organization has impacted over 10,200 underrepresented students across 14 countries through its youth-run chapters and collaborations with community centers, schools, and libraries.
Dogra’s leadership and initiatives with Innoverge have garnered recognition and support, including grants and sponsorships exceeding $15,000 from organizations like Disney, The Hershey Company, and Ann Taylor. Her achievements have been featured in publications such as Forbes, Elite Daily, and Geekwire. Notably, she has been honored as a Forbes 30 under 30 Seattle Lister, Global Teen Leader, Mars Generation 24 under 24 Leader, and WISE Learner’s Voice Fellow.
In addition to her accolades, Dogra has received the Rajendra Social Impact Grant Award from Vital Voices and completed internships at prominent institutions including NASA, the University of Washington, Sensoria Health, and CityTaps, a Paris-based startup.
