A 25-member group from the United States arrived at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki Airport on Saturday, eager to visit the Ram Lalla idol and participate in the Saryu Aarti. The pilgrims, filled with devotion, chanted “Jai Shri Ram” as they traveled by bus to the sacred city, embracing the spiritual atmosphere.
Following their visit to Ayodhya, the group will continue their pilgrimage to Prayagraj, where they will take a holy dip at the Mahakumbh and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. One of the team members shared their joy, stating, “I worship Lord Ram daily and love chanting mantras. Visiting the Ram Temple is a dream come true. Being here fills me with immense happiness.”
Meanwhile, thousands of devotees continue to arrive at Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, many of whom are coming directly from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj after bathing at the Triveni Sangam. The Mahakumbh Mela, which will run until February 26, has drawn massive crowds, prompting authorities to implement extensive crowd control measures.
Ayodhya SSP Rajkaran Nayyar confirmed that 24-hour security, traffic management, and lost-and-found centers have been set up at six locations to assist pilgrims. To ensure a smooth experience, the city has been divided into six zones and 11 sectors for better crowd regulation.
With an increasing influx of worshippers seeking the darshan of Ram Lalla, authorities are working tirelessly to maintain order and provide a safe and fulfilling pilgrimage experience for all.
