The May-June cover model of Vogue India, Alia Bhatt, is expected to become a global sensation after being named this morning as the first international Gucci ambassador from India. Bhatt was likely the logical option for an expansion in the fashion industry after her auspicious debut at the Met Gala, the most guarded fashion event of the year.
Bhatt will make her debut as Gucci’s ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 presentation after being named the brand’s first Indian global ambassador. On May 16, 2023, the performance is planned to take place in Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. The fashion house will celebrate 25 years in the country.
“To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur were captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag,” Gucci tweeted.
The actress further revealed the news in a group Instagram post that read: “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest global brand ambassador.”
She expressed, “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me, and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”
This occurs shortly after her debut at the Met Gala in 2023, where she wore a stunning white dress by designer Prabal Gurung that was heavily embellished with pearls.
Alia Bhatt has only recently come to the attention of the public, but she has already garnered a great deal of praise for her role in the Golden Globes-nominated film RRR and for her work in Heart of Stone, which has made her a familiar face in Hollywood.
