The production of the third Welcome installment, titled “Welcome to the Jungle,” has been underway for some time. Recently, the news broke that Welcome 3 would feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role, accompanied by Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. However, it was noted that Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor are no longer part of the project. The movie’s creators have now designated Christmas 2024 as the release date for the anticipated third installment.
Following the pattern set by the original Welcome film, which premiered on Christmas in 2007, producer Firoz A Nadiadwala has chosen to release this family-oriented entertainer on Christmas 2024. The film’s production is projected to commence in the coming year, after Akshay Kumar completes filming for “Jolly LLB 3” and “Housefull 5.”
Arshad Warsi recently confirmed the project, expressing, “The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. The movie is an incredibly extravagant theatrical production in which I’ll be involved. It features myself, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, and many others.”
With this announcement, Akshay Kumar has strategically marked Eid 2024 for “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” Diwali 2024 for “Housefull 5,” and Christmas 2024 for “Welcome 3.” This lineup underscores the actor’s diverse film offerings, spanning various genres and festive seasons.
