Marking 25 years in the film industry, the actor was visibly emotional as he took to the stage amid a standing ovation, expressing gratitude to those who supported him, particularly his family.
In his heartfelt acceptance speech, Bachchan shared how meaningful the award was, reflecting on the years of effort and dedication that led to this achievement. “This year marks 25 years in the film industry, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rehearsed a speech for this award. Receiving it in front of my family makes it even more special,” he said, with his voice shaking from emotion.
The most touching moment of the evening came when Abhishek dedicated his award to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. He praised their sacrifices and unwavering support that enabled him to pursue his dreams. “To Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for allowing me to follow my dreams. Your sacrifices are a major reason I stand here today. I dedicate this award to two very special people—my father and my daughter, who are both my heroes,” he said.
