Donald Trump Jr., the son of US President Donald Trump, is scheduled to land in Agra on Thursday for a special visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal. He will arrive at Kheria Airport on a private aircraft, after which he will head directly toward the historic monument. This trip marks his first-ever tour of the Taj Mahal, although his father visited the landmark with First Lady Melania Trump in 2020.
Trump Jr. will be accompanied by a delegation of 126 distinguished guests representing nearly 40 countries. Local authorities in Agra have been preparing extensively for his arrival, making sure that the surroundings are clean, secure, and manageable for VIP movement. Ahead of the visit, municipal teams removed stray animals from key roads— including 16 dogs and 12 cows— and conducted an intensive cleaning operation to ensure a smooth and secure passage for the guests.
Following his Agra visit, Donald Trump Jr., who is also a businessman, is expected to stay in India over the weekend to attend a lavish destination wedding hosted by an Indian American family in Udaipur, Rajasthan. A team from a US security agency has already arrived in Udaipur and begun inspecting the arrangements, reviewing locations, and coordinating with local officials to ensure a seamless and safe experience for the VIP attendees.
The wedding celebrations are set for November 21 and 22. The grand ceremony will take place at the iconic Jag Mandir Palace, situated on an island in the center of Lake Pichola. Additional pre-wedding and post-wedding festivities are planned at Manek Chowk inside the City Palace complex. Sources indicate that Trump Jr. will be staying at The Leela Palace Udaipur, one of the city’s most prestigious luxury hotels, known for its lakeside views and royal ambiance.
Several Indian political leaders, well-known business personalities, and celebrities are expected to attend the event. In preparation for these high-profile visitors, the Rajasthan administration has strengthened security across Udaipur. Officials noted that special arrangements have been made along the route from the airport to Lake Pichola, with the city remaining on heightened alert throughout the two-day celebration.
Often called the “City of Lakes,” Udaipur is renowned for its palaces, heritage hotels, and scenic beauty, making it a leading destination for grand Indian weddings. The city has previously hosted events for stars such as Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Raveena Tandon, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Hardik Pandya, and Isha Ambani, daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani.
