Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, on Saturday emphasized that Operation Sindoor—launched in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror incident—serves as a definitive example of the Indian Air Force’s tactical strength and speed. Speaking at the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) held at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Telangana, Singh applauded the mission as a reflection of the IAF’s operational excellence and inter-services coordination.
Addressing newly commissioned officers, Singh highlighted that Operation Sindoor not only showcased the Air Force’s capability to conduct swift, accurate, and effective strikes, but also underscored the seamless integration between India’s defense forces. “As the newest guardians of our skies, you must recognize that the Indian Air Force has always been, and will continue to be, India’s first line of response,” he remarked, urging graduates to internalize the spirit of joint action and collaboration across military branches.
The Air Chief underscored the responsibility that comes with wearing the uniform, reminding officers that their readiness and dedication serve as the backbone of national trust in the IAF. “We hold a sacred obligation to live up to the expectations of every Indian citizen. Maintaining operational preparedness at all times is not just a goal—it’s a duty,” he said.
The Combined Graduation Parade marked the culmination of rigorous pre-commissioning training for flight cadets from various departments of the Air Force. The event symbolized the next chapter in their military careers and was imbued with both pride and a strong sense of purpose.
Air Chief Marshal Singh’s remarks, framed by the success of Operation Sindoor, serve as both a celebration of recent military accomplishments and a charge to future officers to continue pushing the boundaries of service, synergy, and strength in defense of the nation.
