The Center for Inner Resources Development–North America (CIRD-NA) is set to host the 2025 Jnana Yajna, a series of spiritual events taking place in three U.S. cities: Columbus, Irvine, and the San Francisco Bay Area. These sessions, taking place in June and early July, will be guided by revered Indian spiritual leaders, including 93-year-old Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha, Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha, and Ma Gurupriya.
CIRD-NA has announced that this year’s edition will deeply explore the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance to modern life. The programs are structured to be both educational and experiential, blending classical Vedantic discourses with dynamic Q&A sessions and reflective practices. The goal is to help attendees gain mental composure, self-awareness, and practical clarity in daily living.
The journey kicks off with a Youth Retreat on June 7–8 in Irvine, California, tailored especially for younger participants. Topics like resilience, purpose, and conscious living will be at the core of this session. The main retreat, centered on Bhagavad Gita teachings, will be held from June 11–15 in Tustin. It will include a wide range of spiritual practices, from guided meditations and chanting to introspective discussions with the teachers.
Following the Southern California events, Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha will take the lead in the Bay Area from June 18–24, engaging attendees in a similar format tailored to regional participants. The final stop on the tour is Columbus, Ohio, where a week-long program will run from June 24 to July 1. A focused weekend retreat is scheduled for June 28–29 in Columbus, offering an immersive experience for those with limited time.
For over 20 years, CIRD-NA has been a bridge between traditional Indian wisdom and seekers in North America, consistently curating opportunities for spiritual growth and inner transformation. The 2025 Jnana Yajna continues that legacy, inviting individuals of all backgrounds to discover how ancient philosophies can inform and elevate modern life.
With a rich tradition of Vedantic study and emphasis on practical application, these sessions aim to be more than teachings—they are transformative gatherings fostering awareness, balance, and a renewed connection to one’s inner self.
