Rising actress Imanvi, who stars opposite Prabhas in director Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming Telugu film, took to Instagram to share a deeply personal message. She strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, mourning the loss of lives and offering deep condolences to the bereaved. “My heart breaks for the victims and their loved ones,” she expressed. “I strongly condemn this needless violence and dream of a world where art unites, not divides.”
Addressing a wave of online misinformation, Imanvi strongly denied any connection between her family and the Pakistani military. She denounced the rumors as damaging lies, calling out social media trolls and segments of the media for spreading divisive narratives. “No member of my family has ever served in the Pakistan armed forces,” she clarified, calling the rumors “malicious and completely untrue.”
Imanvi, a fluent speaker of Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati, and English, was born and raised in Los Angeles to Indian immigrants who are now U.S. citizens. A graduate from a U.S. university, she has built a thriving career in choreography, dance, and acting. Now stepping into Telugu cinema, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity and paid homage to the legends who shaped the industry.
“My roots are Indian, and my journey reflects the richness of that heritage,” she stated, pledging to use her platform to foster cultural unity. Ending her note with a call for compassion and creative unity, Imanvi wrote, “Art builds empathy and connection—I’m committed to honoring my heritage through the stories I help tell.”
