Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be honoured at the fourth annual Gold House Gala on May 10 at the Music Center in Downtown LA. As reported by Variety, she joins an illustrious list of honorees including filmmaker Jon M. Chu, music artist Megan Thee Stallion, and acclaimed director Ang Lee.
The gala will host over 600 influential figures, celebrating the soon-to-be-revealed 2025 A100 List, which recognises the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders in culture. The list is set to be announced on May 1.
Gold House CEO and co-founder Bing Chen described the gala as more than a celebration — it’s a launchpad for cultural movements. He noted that previous honorees like Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Erivo received recognition at the Gala before their mainstream breakthroughs. The theme for this year, “First Light,” shines a spotlight on trailblazers who have been the first to spark change, not just for themselves but for others who follow.
Priyanka Chopra will receive the inaugural Global Vanguard Honor, celebrating her 25-year career of shaping narratives and forging a unique path that connects the worlds of Asia and the West. From Bollywood to Hollywood, Chopra Jonas has played a pivotal role in elevating South Asian representation on the global stage, making her a fitting recipient of this groundbreaking accolade.
With cultural giants converging and trailblazers being recognized, the 2025 Gold Gala is poised to be a landmark celebration of achievement and inspiration within the Asian Pacific community.
