Following the success of their Tamil films ‘Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae’ (2017) and ‘Andhaghaaram’ (2020), the powerhouse couple Atlee and Priya Atlee are set to make their highly anticipated Bollywood debut with ‘Baby John’. Produced under their banner, A for Apple Productions, the action-packed film features Varun Dhawan in the lead role and is directed by Kalees. Scheduled for a grand release on December 25, 2024, the movie promises to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience.
Ahead of the film’s release, the team hosted a celebratory event where Priya Atlee expressed her emotions, sharing, “It’s like a dream come true for us. We are just babies in this industry, and this is our first production in Bollywood.” She thanked Murad Khetani and Varun Dhawan, acknowledging the significant role they played in making the project a reality. “Murad sir, we’ve learned a lot from you. You handled this project with so much love, and you are now family to us. Thank you, Varun sir, for trusting us,” she said.
Priya also extended her appreciation to her husband, Atlee, saying, “I’ve learned a lot from him,” and expressed gratitude to the entire cast and crew, particularly Kalees, whom she described as “a family member.”
Reflecting on the journey, Priya shared, “We are proud to launch our own family member Kalees. He has been a friend and part of our journey, and we are thrilled to have him direct this film.” The excitement surrounding ‘Baby John’ is palpable, and the team is eagerly looking forward to its release this December.
