Founded by Jai Khanna and Parag Parikh, Victory Sports Media is dedicated to increasing the representation of women’s sports through a variety of projects. The company is currently developing a number of initiatives that celebrate the achievements of inspiring sports figures. These include a groundbreaking docuseries on HBCU women’s gymnastics, a documentary following the life of a prominent WNBA player, and a docuseries focusing on the Indian women’s cricket team, UP Warriorz.
Victory Sports Media has recently entered into a partnership with Ellevest, an investing and wealth management company designed for women. This collaboration has enabled Victory to secure co-financing from Ellevest clients for women-centric sports content. Their first project together was the feature documentary “Dream Big: The Michelle Wie Story,” which premiered on NBC and Peacock on May 18th to critical acclaim.
Jai Khanna, CEO and Co-Founder of Victory Sports Media, expressed his excitement about Kosoglu’s appointment, stating, “We are grateful to have Rohini’s energy and expertise as we aggressively scale Victory Sports Media. Her extensive knowledge of women’s policies and advocacy for equity and equality, coupled with her experience in high-level geopolitical and industry trends, will be invaluable in shaping Victory’s forward-looking strategies.”
Kosoglu herself is enthusiastic about her new role, stating, “It’s a momentous time in women’s sports, and I am thrilled to support Victory Sports Media in putting women athletes at the center of this storytelling. I look forward to ensuring the vision behind Victory’s stories resonates both on and off the screen.”
In addition to her role at Victory Sports Media, Kosoglu serves as a policy fellow at the Stanford University Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence.
