Rumors circulating in Bollywood suggest that Sonakshi Sinha, the talented actor from ‘Dabangg’, is preparing to tie the knot with her boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. Recently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Netflix series Heeramandi featured Sonakshi, the only daughter of veteran actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, in the dual roles of mother Rehanna and daughter Fareedan.
According to both Sonakshi and Zaheer’s close circles, the couple is all set for a registered marriage on June 23. Only family members and close friends will attend some pre-wedding ceremonies scheduled for June 22. The wedding will be in the morning, followed by a reception in the evening, although there has yet to be a confirmation from either Sonakshi or Zaheer regarding the wedding.
Sonakshi and Zaheer started dating in 2020. Zaheer, an actor who also belongs to a jewelry business family, made his Bollywood debut in the film ‘Notebook’ in 2019. He appeared with Sonakshi in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’. Both of their social media handles are full of pictures of each other, and they acknowledge their relationship openly.
Both Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, and her brother, Luv Sinha, have informed the media that Sonakshi has not provided them with any information about her wedding plans. The doting father, Shatrughan Sinha, further said that whenever his daughter decides to get married, he will bless the couple wholeheartedly. Now, we all have to wait until June 23.
