Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently marked the commencement and initiation of several development ventures in Jammu, with a cumulative investment exceeding US$ 3.9 billion (Rs. 32,000 crore). These projects span across diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, transportation, aviation, and infrastructure. Alongside these endeavors, he also facilitated the dissemination of appointment letters to 1,500 freshly recruited government personnel and engaged with beneficiaries benefiting from various governmental initiatives like Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Rashtriya Ajivika Abhiyan.
Mr. Modi underscored the positive transformations brought about by these schemes, elucidating their role in enhancing living standards, fostering self-reliance, and facilitating educational opportunities for individuals. He reiterated the government’s steadfast pledge to ensure widespread access to these benefits, affirming a commitment to comprehensive development through the “Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu” initiative. Expressing optimism, he articulated his confidence in realizing the vision of a developed Jammu and Kashmir, thereby catering to the aspirations of the region’s youth.
