The announcement of manufacturing 40,000 modern bogies for Vande Bharat Standard in general passenger trains was highlighted for enhancing travel comfort. Modi emphasized the government’s ambitious goal-setting approach, aiming for continuous achievements.
Regarding welfare initiatives, PM Modi mentioned the construction of over 40 million houses in villages and cities, with a target to build an additional 20 million. The empowerment of women was underscored, with the goal of creating 30 million ‘Lakhpatis.’ The Ayushman Bharat Yojana’s extension to Anganwadi and ASHA workers was lauded for providing significant assistance to the poor.
The focus on creating opportunities for the poor and middle class was emphasized, and the Roof Top Solar Campaign was highlighted. One crore families are expected to receive free electricity, earning an income of $180 to $216 per year by selling excess electricity to the government.
