The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, initiated in 2003 during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister, attracted participation from over 100 countries, underscoring its global importance in fostering international business and diplomatic relations. Modi highlighted India’s remarkable economic growth, moving from the 11th to the 5th position globally in the past decade, with aspirations to enter the top 3. He assured attendees of India’s focus on crucial sectors like AI, innovation, green hydrogen, and semiconductors, showcasing visible progress at the trade show and highlighting structural reforms for sustainable growth.
Acknowledging the significance of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s participation, Modi emphasized its honor and symbolization of the strong ties between India and the UAE. He credited the UAE for its substantial role in India’s development and noted strengthened relationships with African nations during his tenure.
