Bristow Group, a global leader in vertical flight solutions, has appointed Shefali Shah to its board of directors. Currently holding the positions of Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel at Avaya Holdings Corp, Shah is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives.
Shah’s previous experience includes a role at Era Group (now Bristow Group Inc.), where she served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Notably, she played a key role in Era’s transition to an independent public company, managing legal, human resources, and corporate communications functions.
Commenting on Shah’s appointment, Chris Bradshaw, the director, president, and CEO of Bristow, expressed confidence in her strategic vision and leadership acumen, highlighting the value she brings to navigating the company’s growth and innovation trajectory.
Mark Mickelson, the chairman, emphasized Shah’s successful track record in various senior roles and welcomed her to the board of directors. Throughout her career, Shah has held significant management positions, including Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Comverse Technology, a company specializing in telecommunications software development and marketing.
Shefali Shah holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from Duke University Law School, showcasing her academic qualifications and providing a strong foundation for her contributions to Bristow’s board.
