Academically, Singh holds a BA in English Honors from St. Stephen’s College and a Master’s in English from the same institution, focusing on India’s social, economic, and governance evolution.
Rupa Dash, CEO of the World Woman Foundation, emphasized the persistent challenges in achieving gender equality by 2030. She recognized the untapped potential of women and girls, who make up half of the world’s population. Despite this, gender inequality remains a barrier to social progress. With Sonia Singh’s guidance, the World Woman Foundation is determined to confront these challenges head-on.
