At the 34th annual NRI Pravasi Divas, Sanjib Sahoo, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Ingram Micro, received the Bharat Samman Award. The award ceremony took place at the House of Lords in London during the World Leaders Summit, where it was presented by Alastair John Campbell, 4th Baron Colgrain, alongside other esteemed leaders, including Manu Jagmohan Singh, CEO of the NRI Institute.
The Bharat Samman Award, an annual recognition by the NRI Institute, honors a select group of People of Indian Origin (PIOs), whether residing in India or abroad, for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields and their contributions to socio-economic development. Recipients of this award not only demonstrate a deep understanding of community needs but also showcase exceptional dedication to selfless volunteer service.
The 2023 Bharat Samman Award is being presented to individuals such as Sanjib Sahoo from Ingram Micro, Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, who serves as the Managing Director of JK Cement, Ashok Kumar Todi, who holds the position of Chairman at Lux Industries, and Biswanath Patnaik, who chairs Finnest.
Sharing his feelings and appreciation for being honored, Sahoo expressed, “I feel deeply honored and humbled by this recognition. The fellow recipients, the ceremony, the warmth, and the entire experience have been truly remarkable. I extend my heartfelt thanks.”
Sahoo joined Ingram Micro in 2021, where he played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and advancing the company’s digital counterpart, Ingram Micro Xvantage. His continuous leadership in digital transformation has been instrumental in the company’s ongoing development and enhancement.
