The ALP Group proudly announces its sponsorship of Team Blaze, who have successfully secured a place in the World Finals of the F1 racing in Schools competition held in Singapore. The team consists of four talented 15-year-olds, including three female members, and their achievement of reaching the finals in the challenging F1 in Schools competition is indeed noteworthy.
F1 Racing, a globally celebrated and immensely popular sport, serves as both an exhilarating experience for fans and a display of engineering prowess and team determination. Emerging from this dynamic context is “F1 for Schools,” a project designed to tap into the sport’s popularity among young people. With the participation of students from 42 different countries totaling 200,000 participants, the F1 in Schools competition stands as the largest STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) event on a global scale. Teams of students under the age of 19 engage in collaborative design using CAD/CAM software, research and development, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and racing of cars created from F1 model blocks.
The remarkable feat achieved by Team Blaze—comprising Amaira, Jasmeh, Aryan, and Shrishti, all students at the British School in New Delhi—has propelled them to the world finals. As the National Champions in India, their team, named ‘Team Blaze,’ has secured a spot among the top 10 global teams participating in the F1 competition.
Team Blaze has received significant support for their journey to the ‘F1’ Finals. Their backing comes not only from schools across India but also from notable figures such as Hema Malani, a respected Member of Parliament, Gautam Adani, and the British High Commissioner. The climactic race is scheduled to take place on 9 September in Singapore.
