India’s tax collection from the sale of goods and services grew to US$ 18.29 trillion in October 2022 as a result of greater demand over the holiday season and improved tax compliance.
In September 2022, 83 million e-way bills were produced, as opposed to 77 million in August 2022. The revenue for October is the second-highest monthly collection after April 2022. Additionally, this is the second instance in which the total GST collection has reached the US$18.17 billion mark.
