Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of Bollywood’s strongest worldwide performers of 2026, surpassing Mirzapur: The Movie and Bhooth Bangla to secure third place among the year’s highest-grossing Hindi films.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film has collected approximately $33.6 million worldwide by Day 39. Its latest milestone puts it behind only Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 in the 2026 Bollywood rankings.
Dhurandhar 2 leads the list with approximately $217.6 million, while Border 2 ranks second with around $55.7 million. Mirzapur: The Movie had reached approximately $32.8 million worldwide by Day 11, while Bhooth Bangla had earned about $32.4 million.
The performance is particularly notable given the film’s reported production budget of only around $0.24 million. Despite opening with a modest first-day collection of roughly $0.012 million, Hanuman Ansh built momentum over the following weeks.
The film continued to maintain its theatrical momentum during its sixth weekend. It recorded approximately $1.26 million on Friday, $2.22 million on Saturday and $2.70 million on Sunday. Monday added another $0.99 million to its domestic net total.
By Day 39, the film’s domestic net collection stood at approximately $26.7 million. Its India gross was around $31.6 million, while overseas markets contributed approximately $2.0 million.
Monday’s theater occupancy stood at 26.04%. Morning shows recorded 16.85% occupancy, followed by 27.54% in the afternoon, 30.54% in the evening and 29.23% at night.
With its worldwide total at approximately $33.6 million, Hanuman Ansh now needs about $2.4 million more to cross the $36 million worldwide milestone.
The film’s continued performance could further strengthen its position among the year’s notable Bollywood box-office successes.
