onPhase, a Tampa-based provider of AI-driven financial automation and payment solutions, has appointed Sudarshan Ranganath as its new Chief Product Officer. The leadership move signals the company’s continued focus on expanding its unified automation platform and accelerating product innovation in the finance technology space.
In his new role, Ranganath will oversee product vision, long-term strategy, and execution. He is expected to enhance customer impact, broaden adoption of the company’s integrated financial automation platform, and further strengthen its AI capabilities. With more than 20 years of experience in product leadership, he brings expertise across business spend management, revenue optimization, financial workflow automation, and digital payment systems. His career reflects a consistent track record of developing intelligent, cloud-based platforms that improve operational efficiency while driving measurable growth.
Before joining onPhase, Ranganath served as Senior Vice President of Product Management and Strategy at Corcentric. There, he built and managed a global product organization while contributing to substantial revenue expansion through organic innovation and targeted acquisitions. He also led the development of an AI-focused two-sided trading partner network designed to transform B2B commerce by integrating buyers and suppliers within a unified modern platform architecture.
Earlier in his career, he held senior product leadership roles at Ellucian, Rivermine, and VeriSign. In those positions, he played a key role in cloud and SaaS transitions, enterprise software innovation, and international expansion strategies.
Commenting on his appointment, Ranganath noted that finance leaders today face mounting pressure to deliver strategic value while maintaining transparency and operational control. He emphasized that AI-driven platforms can reduce inefficiencies, strengthen oversight, and empower finance teams with better decision-making tools.

Ranganath holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mysore. His appointment reflects onPhase’s strategic investment in product leadership as it continues to innovate within the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape.
