Poland’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Wladyslaw Bartoszewski, has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “very charismatic” and “phenomenal leader,” stating that India is fortunate to have such leadership during a period of rapid transformation and global engagement.
Highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s repeated electoral victories, Bartoszewski said they reflect strong public trust and confidence in his leadership. He noted that India has undergone a dramatic transformation under Modi’s ambitious vision, emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies.
According to Bartoszewski, Prime Minister Modi’s leadership has played a decisive role in reshaping India’s global standing. He said that India’s rise to become the world’s fourth-largest economy demonstrates the effectiveness of the Prime Minister’s long-term strategy, governance reforms, and focus on development.
Speaking on bilateral relations, the Polish leader said ties between India and Poland are on a strong upward trajectory. He recalled the elevation of bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Poland, describing it as a landmark moment that opened new avenues for cooperation.
Both sides are actively expanding collaboration across key sectors, including defence, digital industries, security, information technology, high-tech investments, space cooperation, and innovation-driven industries. Bartoszewski noted that discussions between the two countries now cover business, politics, security, and emerging technologies.
He also highlighted ongoing high-level engagements and upcoming visits by senior Polish and Indian officials, reflecting the growing momentum in bilateral ties. According to him, the scope of cooperation between India and Poland continues to widen, with long-term potential across strategic and economic domains.
Describing the partnership as future-oriented, Bartoszewski said cooperation between India and Poland symbolises shared ambition and mutual trust. He added that joint achievements in advanced fields, including space cooperation, underline the depth of the relationship and point toward an even stronger partnership ahead.
