Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host his annual “Pariksha Pe Charcha” (PPC) on February 6, 2026, connecting with students to discuss exam-related stress, motivation, and mental wellbeing. Announcing the event via his official social media account ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), PM Modi highlighted that this year’s edition has expanded its reach beyond the national capital to include locations such as Coimbatore, Raipur, Devmogra, and Guwahati, making the event more inclusive for students across India. Pre-events were also conducted in these regions to engage participants ahead of the main interaction.
This year, Pariksha Pe Charcha has seen a record participation of 4.50 crore people, including 4,19,14,056 students, 24,84,259 teachers, and 6,15,064 parents. Students will have the opportunity to ask PM Modi questions about handling exam pressure, goal-setting, mental stress management, and preparing for board exams while maintaining overall well-being. The Prime Minister will offer guidance on stress management strategies, motivation, and balancing study with mental health care.
For those unable to attend in person, the interaction will be streamed live across several platforms. Viewers can watch it on timesnownews.com/education, DD National, DD News, DD India, All India Radio (MW & FM), and YouTube channels of the PMO, Ministry of Education, and Doordarshan, as well as on MyGov.in. Schools have been instructed to arrange live viewing for students of Class 6 and above, ensuring widespread participation.
In a first for PPC, PM Modi’s interaction spanned multiple cities, creating a national moment of engagement and support. The Ministry of Education noted that hearing directly from the Prime Minister helps students feel heard, reduces anxiety, and boosts confidence, turning exams into a manageable part of life while inspiring them to pursue their dreams with clarity and determination.
